They come back with food and Spartacus forces them to share with the rest of the people in the sewers. They get angry about Spartacus telling them what to do and tell Crixus about the incident. He comes in and honestly… since when did they become so literate and intelligent. Crixus and Spartacus sound like they are reciting Shakespeare but talking about the Romans, but back to the story… Crixus’ goal in life is to find Naevia (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) – who was sold during the first season. Spartacus: Vengeance Season 1 Episode 1 Fugitivus So we see a lot of sexual acts going on – threesomes, a strap on (yes, a legit strap on), oral sex, and MSM sex – and lots of boobs and penises. Yay! Then we see the naked men getting killed by Spartacus and his men. So we see lots of naked bodies and blood squirting out of them. For those who did not know Spartacus, Spartacus is known as the famous leader of the slaves during the Third Servile War, a major revolution against the Roman Republic. Historians agree that he was a former gladiator and an accomplished military leader. Spartacus’s straggle and is often interpreted as an example of oppressed people fighting for their freedom against the slave owing oligarchy and has found meaning since the 19th century. The story of Spartacus has proven inspirational to modern authors of literature, history, film and television.
Back in January 22, 2010 the Starz Television showed the Spartacus: Blood and Sand as a TV show that was inspired by the history of Spartacus. The executive Steven S. DeKnight and Robert Tapert focused on structuring the events of Spartacus’ obscure early life leading up to the beginning of historical records.
During the season one of the television series, the plot started with an unnamed Thracian’s The story begins with an unnamed Thracian’s involvement in a unit of Roman auxiliary in a campaign against the Getae (Dacian tribes that occupied the regions south of the Lower Danube, in what is today northern Bulgaria, and north of the Lower Danube, in Romania). The Getae frequently raid the Thracians’ lands, so the Thracians are persuaded by Glaber to enlist in the Romans’ service as auxiliaries.
Glaber is persuaded by his wife Ilithyia to seek greater glory, decides to break off attacking the Getae and directly confront the forces of Mithridates in Asia Minor. The Thracian, feeling betrayed, leads a mutiny against Glaber, and returns to find his village destroyed. The Thracian and his wife Sura are captured by Glaber the next day; the Thracian is condemned to die in the gladiator arena for his crime, while Sura is taken away, condemned to slavery. With the difficulties and challenges he had experienced during the first season of the show, Spartacus promised to make Rome shiver.
